Jim King gives many public presentations on many different Adobe Technologies. He primarily focuses on explaining the technologies that are used in Adobe's products with simple clear slide presentations.

Most of these slide presentations (saved as PDF files) contain annotations providing, in text, what Jim usually says when he give the presentations orally.

PDF Tutorial (Inside PDF) -- explains the basic object and imaging concepts of PDF
Although these files date from August 1998, they cover the still valid basic concepts of PDF. Some of the references have been updated to September 2002. There are also sample PDF files provided that accompany the slides.

Color Management Tutorial -- explains the basic concepts of color management.
Based on a two hour presentation first given at the AIC 2001 Conference in Rochester, New York. AIC 2001 was the 9th Congress of the International Colour Association. Also visit the International Color Consortium website.
